Strep throat sucks. I Had to go to the ER and they wanted to give me a shot to test for mono and luckily my strep test came back first, but then they wanted to give me a shot in my ass instead of giving me a prescription. Mom wanted me to take the shot, but I'm uber afraid of needles so I have pills instead. I'm actually feeling better today and I'll prolly go back to work tomorrow...

-Just finished my Comp exam....did well on the multiple choice part and more than liely bombed on the essay part.
-Got a fifty on my memo paper because I was "well below the word requirement." It's a freaking memo!!! It's not supposed to be long. The point of a memo is to be short and to the point!
-Rae Rae and I are exchanging gifts today, and I'm wondering what she got me. I have to wait til she's done with the exam...she's comparing and contrasting the Spice Girls and Panic! At The Disco lol...I hope she sends me a copy of that paper...
Well now I'm gonna kill some time by doing...well I'm not sure what I'm gonna do...

1. Kevin Smith (corps director) drives like a friggin maniac.
2. Carolina Crown may not pass you on the field, but they will always pass you on the interstate.
3. Crown Creation may just be the greatest liquid you ever drink. Ever.
4. Joe can sleep anywhere (plane, car, bus, gym floor, watching 180 percussionists perform)
5. If you're gonna fly to the camp, fly early. You'll make more friends while waiting for the shuttles.
6. Joe hates all band directors, with the exception of those with doctorates.
So yea...the camp was amazing. Hopefully Joe's dad can drive us to the next camp in December. I hafta work my ass off the reat of this month. I'm hoping to at least get an alternate spot. Alternates almost always end up in the show by the end of the season, and even if I don't I still get to perform in encores and parades.
I miss the weather and the people I met there already....

Figured I'd update coz I'm killing time at work lol. Not too much goin on lately...pre-ordered the Wii, goin to BOA prelims tomorrow and then to Lion's Pride with Joe to see Hudson...I can't wait til November. Cartel and New Found Glory Nov. 3rd and then 30 Seconds To Mars with Rock Kills Kid and Head Automatica the next day, both in Orlando...should be fun. I don't think I'm gonna like Next Big Thing this year...I bought lawn seats coz I'm broke. Pit seats are 60 bucks! That's insane. I remember when Next Big Thing was like 20 dollars...oh well. Anyways, I should get back to work...

So things have been going well lately. Won something from 97x last night. It's like a WWE prize bucket or something, but I'm also registered to win a 40" T.V. and $400 so there's no complaints here. Then this morning I was checking my email in English and I was DCI's randomly selected winner for the week so I'm also getting a cd set! Woot. Hopefully I can find a ride to Jacksonville to see Anberlin with Joe, and if not, they'll be in St. Pete next month...

Sitting here in English...bored, hungry, tired. Rae Rae is sick so she's not here which means Tom isn't here either. I guess I should get used to taking classes on my own because next semester I need to schedule my schooling around my work but I think I'm gonna be taking classes at the same time I'm taking them now, except for no night classes, so I guess I'll probably still have classes with Rae and Tom. I miss having football games every Friday and all the band kids. I'm going to audition for Carolina Crown in November. I was going to audition for Phantom Regiment, but I'm low on funds so I figured I would go for a corps I can drive to and I love Crown. I guess I should listen to my English teacher now so I'm gonna go now...

I'm sitting in the administration building waiting for Tom and Rae Rae to get out of math, so I figured it was about that time for an update. Things are going good, classes are fun, I have a job at my mom's work doing data entry(full-time...$8 an hour...hell yes). I'm starting to think homework is going to be hard coz I don't have internet at my house yet, but I suppose I can just use my neighbors or pull all-nighters at my grandparents' house if necesary. I realized that I wont be able to go see any of Mitchell's football games, I'm working til 10:30 on Fridays...oh well. That just means that I'll have to go to more of the competitions.
Well, I'm gonna attempt to do something productive...peace out.
